Our friendly waiters serve breakfast, lunch and dinner Tuesday to Sunday, eat in or take away. Food is healthy and hearty and can be served indoors or on the shaded deck overlooking the gardens and wetland.

Breathe In
Whether you like to work up a sweat when you work out, or take things a little easier, our parks make healthy living fun. From jungle gyms and a mini playpark for tots, to walking and jogging paths, the Fourways Gardens running club, practice areas for soccer, cricket and basketball, two tennis courts, a mountain bike trail and even a dog park for high-energy hounds, every member of the family is covered! For those who prefer to work out indoors, our clubhouse offers a number of classes, including yoga, Pilates, karate, jazz dancing, ballet and drama.

Breathe Out

Communal Parks
The Estate has two large landscaped parks, with playground equipment and jungle gyms, walking paths, a river, wetlands and waterfalls. Nature and birdlife are abundant, with owl and bat boxes providing housing for our other winged friends. Thatched bomas and benches are placed throughout for residents to relax in the shade and enjoy the birdlife and, if you are lucky, you might catch sight of our pair of resident leguaans (rock lizards).

Give Back
We know how fortunate we are to call Fourways Gardens home. Many of the people who live here are involved in supporting outreach initiatives to help those who live in the communities around us. From feeding schemes and fundraisers, to educational programmes and collection drives, there are many ways willing helpers of all ages can contribute. Find out more by clicking the button below.

A PLACE FAMILIES LOVE TO CALL HOME
The Estate is divided into two sections – Phases I and IV to the West and Phases II and III to the East. Our beautiful trees are an asset to the Estate and the streets are each named after the type of indigenous tree that line them.
The 943 characterful homes are mostly freestanding houses on stands between 900 – 1700ms, but the estate also includes smaller homes in Sunbird estate (own title townhouses) and Mopane Lodge, a sectional title complex. Although there are no specific aesthetic guidelines, all homes are required to meet rigorous architectural design standards.
Providing a safe and stress-free environment for our families is a priority and our security system meets the highest standards. Security is provided by 24/7 Security Services and we have a full-time, on-site security manager and team. Access is restricted to invited visitors, with entry and exit controlled via a biometric fingerprint system. Our capable and reliable team oversee every aspect of security, including routine 24/7 monitoring of the electrified perimeter fence and all boom-controlled access points, patrolling of the streets and parks and crisis response.
We love to gather with our families and friends and have a good time, and being part of an active community means there’s always something fun happening.
Popular with the kids are our weekly food stalls in the park on Pancake Tuesdays and Ice-Cream Wednesdays. Our annual calendar is full of fun events for residents and their friends. Trick or Treat, Easter Egg Hunt, Christmas Market and Carols By Candlelight often attract outside guests.
FAMILY FIRST
Fourways Gardens pioneered the lifestyle estate concept 30 years ago. It attracted families who were eager to enjoy the benefits of secure community living and give their kids a chance to grow up in a neighbourhood where they could safely play outside with their friends. Some of those families are still here today and their children and grandchildren have also made Fourways Gardens their home. In fact, we have three families of three generations in our estate! It just goes to show that Fourways Gardens is the perfect place to raise a family.
